Event #3 – The 2= 1^st annual Ho= osier Racing Tire Short Track Nat= ionals presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, = I-30 Speedway, Little Rock, AR; October 23^rd-25^th<=
/sup>.About 4 ½ hours up the freeway on Interstate 30 from D/FW, the next stop is the w= ild and drama filled Short Track Nationals. The championship event pays $15,000= to win and $2,100 to start.

Last year’s record-setting event attracted more than = 100 sprint teams from over 20 states and Canada. It is also the final national point’s race for the 2008 ASCoT season, with the champion taking home a check for a whopping $50,000.

The 4^th annual STN Trade Show and Midway returns to provide race teams and fans a chance to visit with industry manufacturers, plus get great deals on racing apparel and merchandise from a variety of vendors. More money is on the line for the 2008 NSS. More racing, as Twin 25’s for the sprint cars have been added= to the Friday night program. More cars will start the Saturday NSS Championship. And the popular ASCS passing points system will go into effec= t on Friday night.

Similar to the Cowtown Sprint Nationals, big money is= on the line for the sprint cars. The Friday Twin 25’s will each pay $1,000 to = win. All sprint car drivers will qualify for one of the Twin 25’s and are guaran= teed payback on Friday night.

And in the event that the sprint car field is too lar= ge for Twin 25’s; a third, $1,000 to win feature race will be added, making it Triple 25’s!

Saturday’s last chance races will fill the balance of= the field for the 35-lap November Sprint Shootout, with the winner picking up a cool $5,000; with 2^nd paying $4000, 3^rd $3000, 4^=
th $2000, and down to $400 to start. And the starting field has been expanded = to 22 cars. All non-qualifiers Saturday night will receive at least $100.=
